Illusione Epernay LAlpiniste was meant to be a sweeter version of the original Illusione cigar by Dion Giolito. Illusione Epernay cigars are made with a light, shade grown Corojo 99 wrapper from Nicaragua. The name Epernay is that of a Champagne town in France, and the association with Champagne is meant to evoque the fruitiness and sweet character of the cigar.
