Its oily mouthwatering Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper was fermented for four years in palm-bark wrapped bales, which is a traditional Cuban fermentation method known a terciario (or tercios) and allows the wrapper to fully develop. This savory wrapper cloaks a Nicaraguan binder and a Nicaraguan filler made of vintage tobaccos that were harvested in 2014, which happens to be Patel’s first harvest.
